Type of Universities/Colleges


  • China has 2,500 higher education institution, but only 458 of them accept international student, which include “University of 211 Project” and “University of 985 Project “
  • University of 211 Project is a policy implement by China Ministry of Education, which focus on developing more than 100 higher education institution; while University of 985 Project was the extended policy from University of 211 Project, which focus on some of the universities to assist them to become top universities in the world.
  • These higher education institutions provide Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree courses. The courses open up for international students apply are liberal arts, sciences, engineering, business, agriculture, medicine science and design courses.
  • Students may also chose to study in Technical College for their Diploma certificate, and further study in University for another two years to get their Bachelor’s Degree certificate.

  • International Students normally will require to have HSK Test, and achieve 4 to 6 grade Mandarin Level. UEC graduates can be exempt from the HSK Test.

Step 2: Fill in and submit application to respective colleges.

Step 4: Apply for student visa.
